Lotemax Eye Drops is an ophthalmic suspension having generic name loteprednoletabonate. It contains a topical, sterile anti-inflammatory corticosteroid (steroids or cortisone-like medicines). This suspension contains 0.5%w/v loteprednoletabonate (5 mg/ml). It comes in milky-white color.

Lotemax Eye Drops ophthalmic solution is indicated for treating steroid-responsive inflammatory eye conditions, such as palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, allergic conjunctivitis, superficial punctate keratitis, acne rosacea, herpes zoster keratitis, cyclitis, iritis or certain other conditions. Lotemax Eye Drops is also indicated for post-operative inflammation following ocular surgery. It is used in dry eye syndrome to relieve and reduce inflammation of the ocular surface caused due to hyperosmolarity of the tears.
