The body forms angiotensin II from angiotensin I through angiotensin-converting enzymes (ACE). Angiotensin II is a part of the renin-angiotensin system, which has a vasoconstriction effect. • Older individuals have been found to be more sensitive to the side effects of Abel, including drowsiness and kidney problems so they should use the drug carefully.
• If your surgeon or dentist has scheduled any surgery, tell them that you are using Abel for your high blood pressure.
