Low Estrogen levels are the common problem that most of the females experience through their life. However, it can be associated with many health problems which carry some symptoms with it.

Estrogen is characterized as female hormone that can also be called as “femininity hormone”. When there is imbalance in level of estrogen or low estrogen, many females may have to suffer. Low level of estrogen can cause dryness, weakness or deprived resistance to infection.  However, lower level of estrogen may lead to painful penetration or intercourse, incontinence and urinary tract infections.

Low levels of estrogen affects badly to the skin. Feeling creepy crawlies or itchiness and dryness of skin can also be the outcome of imbalance or lower estrogen level.  In addition, dryness can also be experienced on your nails, eyes and hair as well which results in hair loss and thinning of hair.

Panic attacks like joint pain, back pain, night sweats etc in women is caused due to decreased hormone levels.  Low estrogen levels can cause anxiety and depression in some women.  With the decrease on hormonal level, the enzyme named MAO- monoamine oxidase starts destroying neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters that are highly responsible for changes in emotions and mood comprise norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin.

Along with this panic attacks, females even suffer from poor memory, low self esteem due to which they lack proper concentration.  Neurotransmitter levels exaggerated by fluctuations or decrease in hormones can have a significant impact on pain levels, sleeping, thinking, eating and lead to onset of different health problems and mental disorders.
