According to a new report on lung cancer in women that was conducted by scientists from the Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts,  along with reference to the previous studies on the same topic, researchers have investigated the topic thoroughly to get the better know how on the possible treatments and  the other information on lung cancer.

According to Jessica K. Paulus, who worked on the analysis, Breast cancers are related to the hormonal changes, similarly if the lung cancer was caused in the same way the similar drugs can be effective for both the diseases

As per the development of the research, however studies haven’t agreed on the topic  whether or not pregnancies — and by extension hormones — play a role in lung cancer in women. It is difficult to find out the exact reason that caused lung cancer in women with several childbirths. Since lung cancer is the major cause for majority of deaths in the U.S. according to the American Cancer Society.

Lung cancer has become a common disease in women with their growing age the risk of getting lung cancer is about one in 13 for men and one in 16 for women. But these overall numbers include smokers, whose risk is many times higher than that of non-smokers. Besides this there are several other reasons such as active smoking and exposure to second hand smoking are some of the strongest factors that are risky for lung cancer.
